I recently started my junior year at Boston University's BFA Acting program, after a summer of performing with SpeakEasy Stage and assistant teaching at the Boston University High School Summer Theatre Institute.
I just finished performing in the world premiere of a new horror play by S Thomasin Barsotti - ENTRY: OR, YOU THINK YOU KNOW ME - as "the figure of an oil black substance"... creepy, right?
Later this fall, I'll be originating the role of Belle in SOFT STAR at Boston Playwright's Theatre, marking my New England regional debut.

Played Marijana in the beautiful workshop production of THE MUSEUM OF BROKEN RELATIONSHIPS at SpeakEasy Stage, performing in the Huntington Theatre in Boston to two sold-out nights.
Worked songwriting and performance chops in a web series pilot called "Songbirds" where she co-wrote an original song and acted as a lead, and taught acting, music theatre, and voice and speech to a group of 50 high schoolers at Boston University's Summer Theatre Institute.
Mairéad closed as Celeste #1/A Waitress and understudying Dot/Marie in Boston University's SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE to a highly acclaimed sold out run!
She also performed in ILLUMINATE: AN ELECTRIC CABARET, A Senior Lighting Thesis at Boston University -- playing original music and singing "Let Me Be Your Star" from Smash.
Big month! Shared original songs as part of LIVE AT 855!, a music festival produced by BU'S S.T.A.M.P Productions. Mairéad also closed a show as an actor and deviser in the world premiere of Kirsten Greenidge's experimental new play ONE PENNY DOWN, and continues her training at BU.
Mairéad recently wrapped work on a workshop of LIKE FLIES: A RAGE PLAY in collaboration with the Boston Playwright's Theatre at the Boston University Fringe Festival, written by Maggie Kearnan.
Had so much fun working briefly at Boston Playwrights Theatre @playwrightsbpt for their Spring One Act staged readings! Mairéad was excited to bring Maggie Kearnan's new play DOWN THE SHOOT to life, with direction from Gregg Wiggans through Boston University's MFA program.
At the end of her freshman year at BU, Mairéad performed "On The Steps of The Palace" from INTO THE WOODS in her performance class and went viral on TikTok for it - with over 250k views and 40k+ likes on the video.
Wrapping up her first semester at Boston University School of Theatre, Mairéad performed 'Climbing Uphill' from THE LAST FIVE YEARS in her freshman performance class. A video of this performance went viral on TikTok, amounting over 900k views and 250k likes. View here.
After receiving multiple BFA acceptances in both Musical Theatre and Acting, Mairéad is proud to say she will be committing to the prestigious Boston University School of Theatre for her BFA in Acting with a Concentration in Music Theatre.
She will be making her regional theatre debut as Caroline in 'I AND YOU' at Penguin Repertory Theatre. The two-person play will be directed by Tom Caruso and run April 29-May 15th in Stonypoint NY. Tickets/info here.

In a COVID emergency, Mairéad was brought in as a swing for "A Midsummer Night's Dream" at LaGuardia Arts High School, performing in the roles of Philostrate and Mustardseed, and understudying every individual Fairy track in the show. She learned all tracks in the span of six days.
She was also awarded the Martin Tishman Musical Theatre Award by LaGuardia Arts.

As one of the winners of the Adela and Larry Elow High School American Songbook Competition, Mairéad had the good fortune to be a part of the 32nd Annual New York Cabaret Convention in the second evening of performances, THE FUTURE OF CABARET. Stream it here.
You can catch her this February at LaGuardia High School's production of ALL SHOOK UP, the Elvis Presley jukebox musical, in the role of Miss Sandra. In December, she'll be a part of LaGuardia's One Act Play Festival as Emma in STUPID FUCKING BIRD.
This past month, Mairéad was the recipient of the Sandy Faison Award, awarded annually to a rising senior in high school who is a drama major.
She attended the Interlochen Center For The Arts, the New York Film Academy, and ArtsBridge Summer Musical Theatre, where she gained valuable growth in her skills as an performer.
Mairéad also recently recorded vocal music for the soundtrack of the short film 'FRIDAY'.
LaGuardia High School's RISING STARS 2021: BEHIND THE MASK will be airing three separate times on PBS, alongside being able to be streamed on the ALL ARTS platform! Mairéad is a featured soloist!

In addition - Mairéad is excited to be attending the prestigious (and in-person!) Interlochen Arts in Michigan this June to continue to study Musical Theatre. She was the recipient of the Helene Meredith Spizz Scholarship in order to fund her studies.

Amid the coronavirus pandemic, Mairéad had the opportunity to record a TV & Radio voiceover spot for Montefiore Hospital - from home!
Unfortunately, the production of Chisa Hutchinson's "We ❤️ Mr. Marsden" that Mairéad was due to perform in during the month of May, was cancelled due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. However, a radio play version of the script read by the actors (with D'Arcy Carden, William Jackson Harper, and Taylor Schilling) is available here.
She was also featured in the 2020 Virtual Edition of Feinstein's/54 Below "A Very Broadway Mother's Day".
Mairéad had the honor of being in LaGuardia High School’s ”Rising Stars: My Vision - 2020” as part of the featured Rising Stars Chorus.
Additionally, Mairéad has joined the cast of “We ❤️ Mr. Marsden”, written by Chisa Hutchinson, at the Keen Theatre Company. She’s thrilled to be playing the role of ‘Summer’ and is excited for the shows in May.

It was so exciting performing in A Very Broadway Mother's Day 2018, at the famous Broadway dinner club Feinsteins/54 Below. Mairéad had the honor of singing alongside her mother and performing a song from the new musical 'Curious and Rare'.
She was also fortunate to be able to record a few voice over demos for Comcast commercials.
Mairéad was thrilled and honored to reprive her role as "Aurora" in the third season of The Unexplainable Disappearance of Mars Patel! She had so much fun recording and reuniting with the cast and crew members after a long, but worth-it wait. More details to come soon!
Mairéad was accepted into LaGuardia High School, aka the "Fame" school, for both the drama and vocal divisions! She is choosing to major in drama, and can't wait for this fall!
'When Words Fail', a student film Mairéad co-directed, co-wrote, and acted in, was presented at the TriBeCa Film Festival and won 'Best Drama' at the SONYC Film Festival.'When Words Fail' was presented and honored at the United Nations building and received the Peacemakers Champion Award at the Plural+ 2017 ceremony.
