Mairéad O'Neill is a Boston & NYC based actor and singer, known most notably for her film work on the short "The Renovation" (2016), and her voiceover work on the Peabody Winning & Webby Award Nominated ‘Mars Patel’ podcast. She is a member of SAG-AFTRA, an alumni of LaGuardia Arts High School (the ‘FAME’ school), and a current junior at Boston University’s School of Theatre, obtaining her BFA in Acting. Mairéad is repped by Boals, Winnett & Associates Agency.
Mairéad’s credits span venues across the NY & Boston areas, recently having played Caroline in I AND YOU at Penguin Repertory Theatre, directed by Bway vet Tom Caruso. Mairéad is a lover and champion of new works, with several recent staged readings at the Boston Playwright's Theatre, and was just in SpeakEasy Stage's Equity Workshop production of THE MUSEUM OF BROKEN RELATIONSHIPS this past June. She just made her official Boston regional theatre debut in the world premiere of SOFT STAR in Boston Playwright’s Theatre Fall 2024 Repertory.
You can hear Mairéad’s voice in the acclaimed Gen-Z Media podcasts “The Unexplainable Disappearance of Mars Patel” and “TOMORROW: The Continuing Adventures of Annie Warbucks” (alongside Laura Benanti & Alan Ruck). A lover of music, concerts, and all things open-mic related (she is also a songwriter!), she has lended her voice to demos of new musicals, radio plays, commercials, albums, and short film soundtracks, and has performed at Feinstein's/54 Below thrice!
Up next, she'll be studying Shakespeare at the London Academy of Music And Dramatic Art. In her spare time, she runs a content creation business, teaches hot yoga sculpt, is an avid thrifting and vintage clothing lover, and has a small but mighty TikTok following of 15k+ @mayreedie.
