New York City,
Mairéad O'Neill is an NYC & Boston based actor, singer, and all-around creative. She is a member of SAG-AFTRA, an alumni of LaGuardia Arts High School (the ‘FAME’ school), and finishing up getting her BFA at Boston University School of Theatre. Mairéad is represented by Boals, Winnett & Associates Agency.
Mairéad’s credits span venues across the NY & Boston areas, recently having played Caroline in I AND YOU at Penguin Repertory Theatre, directed by Bway vet Tom Caruso. A champion of new works, she's also been in several staged readings at Boston Playwrights Theatre, SpeakEasy Stage, and The Snapple Theater in NYC. She just made her Boston regional theatre debut in the world premiere of SOFT STAR in Boston Playwright’s Theatre Fall 2024 Repertory.
Her voice can be heard in Gen-Z Media’s Webby & Peabody-winning 'Mars Patel' podcast and TOMORROW: The Continuing Adventures of Annie Warbucks (with Laura Benanti & Alan Ruck). A devoted voice geek, she’s lent her voice to demos, commercials, soundtracks, and has performed at Feinstein’s/54 Below three times. She's currently putting together her debut album of original songs!
Mairéad spent most of 2025 in Europe, studying Shakespeare at LAMDA, and later trained in clowning and Roy Hart voice work at the Accademia dell’Arte in Italy. Beyond the stage, she’s a certified Yoga Sculpt instructor, runs a content creation business, and shares to her 16k+ TikTok following @mayreedie.
